The employer is a global technology company providing real-time operating systems and consulting services through line of off the shelf software products and end to end development and support for technology products. It addresses industries like telecommunication, automotive manufacturing, medical devices manufacturing, aviation.

Job objective

The job objective is to create and capitalize new leads and sales opportunities throughout Europe by promoting and selling the company services and products and manage a sales team to boost the sales success.

Mandatory requirements

  • relevant IT education background (University level)
  • international sales experience (field, not inside sales) preferably to clients in automotive / medical devices / aviation industries
  • team management experience
  • availability to travel abroad to meet prospects / clients, participate at relevant fairs / events/ conferences

  • Develop the sales strategy for the company in the allocated area
  • Implement and monitor the sales strategy together with the sales team members and adjust as necessary
  • Prospect, develop, negotiate and close sales opportunities
  • Understand industry-specific landscapes and trends
  • Stay current with industry developments, competitive offerings, and issues affecting growth
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Create and maintain close business relationships with prospects and clients
  • Collaborate with other company departments in order to tailor and propose the right offers / solutions
  • Manage the local sales team in Romania, offer support, guidance and monitor the members’ success
  • Travel abroad (mainly Western Europe) to meet clients, participate in relevant fairs, conferences and other events


  • Technology related higher education
  • Previous experience in international sales (field sales, not inside sales) and new business development
  • Sales team management experience
  • Strategic thinking capability
  • Result driven, energic
  • Excellent communication skills and intercultural adjustment
  • Previous direct exposure / interaction with automotive /medical devices / aviation industries (manufacturing) represents an important advantage as well
  • People management (ability tu support, offer guidance, offer feedback, set clear and relevant expectations)
  • Availability to travel abroad
